About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lead Appliance Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the delivery, installation, and setup of household and commercial appliances. The role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer service skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of appliance installation procedures, including electrical and plumbing connections.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy appliances safely.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations and work flexible hours if needed.
  • Valid North Carolina Driver's License
  • Minimum 2 Years related experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to work after normal business hours as needed to support the team and meet customer expectations.
  • Satisfactory MVR (driving record)
  • D.O.T. physical/certification in states that require a drug screen, criminal background investigation with job performance reference check, and required testing, a valid Driver's License, and compliance with the Company's Driver Qualification Policy

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in appliance installation, HVAC, electrical work, or a related field preferred.
  • Certification or training in appliance installation or a related trade.
  • Experience with gas appliances and proper safety procedures.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and install household and commercial appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, washing machines, and dryers.
  • Ensure appliances are properly connected to power, water, gas, or ventilation systems.
  • Test appliances to confirm they function correctly post-installation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues that arise during installation.
  • Provide customers with instructions on appliance use, care, and safety precautions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at installation sites.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and dispatch personnel.
  • Complete and submit required documentation, such as installation reports and service records.
  • Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
