Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Assistant Teachers)
  • Experience working with children preferred (Assistant Teachers)
  • Ability to support a play-based curriculum and engage actively with children (Assistant Teachers)
  • A CDA (Lead Teachers)
  • Some college credits in any field with a commitment to enroll in and complete 6 hours of online or in-person courses in Early Childhood Education within a year of employment at Goddard (We can pay for this!) (Lead Teachers)
  • A Bachelor's degree in an early childhood field (Lead Teachers)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet DCFS licensing requirements (All Roles)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills (All Roles)
  • Passion for early childhood education and a love of learning through play (All Roles)
