Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children preferred
  • Ability to support a play-based curriculum and engage actively with children
  • A CDA or
  • Some college credits in any field with a commitment to enroll in and complete 6 hours of online or in-person courses in Early Childhood Education within a year of employment at Goddard (We can pay for this!) or
  • A Bachelor's degree in an early childhood field.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet DCFS licensing requirements
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for early childhood education and a love of learning through play
