About The Position

We are looking for a highly independent Lead Analytics Engineer to own and evolve our enterprise BI data layer, built on Snowflake and DBT. This role goes beyond implementation - you will be responsible for data modeling decisions, pipeline design, validation, and system reliability across a complex and evolving data ecosystem. You will work closely with analytics, supply chain, and engineering teams but are expected to drive technical solutions end-to-end, including in ambiguous situations.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI engineering.
• Advanced SQL expertise.
• Strong experience with DBT (models, lineage, transformations).
• Hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Proven ability to own pipelines end-to-end and solve complex data issues independently.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Data Vault concepts
• Experience with enterprise BI environments like Power BI
• Experience with Git-based workflows

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data models using Snowflake and DBT.
• Define standards for transformations and semantic layers.
• Own data correctness end-to-end.
• Validate counts, aggregations, and joins.
• Identify discrepancies independently.
• Diagnose and resolve pipeline failures and performance issues.
• Optimize Snowflake workloads and DBT execution.
• Work through incomplete requirements and unclear ownership.
• Identify root causes across systems.
• Partner with analytics and data teams.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and define best practices.
