About The Position

PPG is looking for a Lead Analytics Analyst to join our team! The AIM Analytics Lead Analyst would report to the AIM SPL Technical Product Owner and partner very closely with AIM Analytics Business Product Owner. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to understand needs, assessing use cases, conducting data exploration and analysis, and supporting solution development and deployment with Digital IT teams. The Lead Analytics Analyst will also lead analytical validation, translate findings into business recommendations, and support Agile delivery processes, ensuring deliverables meet quality and governance standards. Post-deployment support, including model performance review and improvement recommendations, is also a key part of the role.

Requirements

• A four-year degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline; or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in IT, data analytics, or a related technical field.
• Proven hands‑on analytical skills, ideally with experience in data analysis, statistical methods, or AI/ML delivery.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear technical documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and analytics delivery frameworks.
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating through virtual channels.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle (data preparation, model development, validation, deployment, monitoring) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Product Owner to understand business problems, objectives, and data requirements.
• Assess feasibility of potential analytics use cases, including data availability, complexity, and analytical approaches.
• Contribute analytical input to business cases, ensuring technical viability and realistic effort estimates.
• Conduct hands‑on data exploration and statistical analysis to support model development and insight generation.
• Identify, assess, and prepare relevant data sources in collaboration with Data Engineering.
• Build prototypes, descriptive insights, and statistical analyses that guide model refinement.
• Collaborate with Digital IT teams (primarily AI/ML COE, D&A, and GCSS) to support solution development and deployment.
• Lead analytical validation activities through structured testing.
• Translate analytical findings into clear, business‑relevant insights and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to refine or improve solutions based on user feedback and performance metrics.
• Support Agile delivery processes by participating in ceremonies and providing analytical input to sprint planning.
• Ensure analytical deliverables adhere to required quality, documentation, and governance standards.
• Support post‑deployment monitoring, including reviewing model performance and recommending improvements.
