About The Position

The Lead Analyst, Data Advisor plays a pivotal role within the MedTech Supply Chain Digital and Data Strategy team, supporting global analytics and data consumption for the MedTech Supply Chain Digital Brain platform. This role serves as a trusted partner to business customers, helping them understand available data assets, where to access them, and how to use them effectively. This role bridges business needs with enterprise data platforms, guiding users through data discovery, interpretation, and application while promoting data literacy, governance, and self-service analytics. They will partner with other key roles on the data team such as Data Architecture, Data Governance, and Data Delivery to ensure timely delivery of data products in support of key initiatives across the MedTech landscape.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent University degree required; focused degree in business, information systems, data analytics, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum four (4) years of relevant professional work experience
  • Demonstrated ability in data analytics, data management, or business-facing data roles
  • Solid understanding of how data is structured, stored, and accessed across systems
  • Experience with SQL and/or querying tools to validate and explore data
  • Experience supporting business users in analytics or reporting environments
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and associated data.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience with data catalog tools (ex. Alation, Collibra)
  • Familiarity with semantic layers and/or data product frameworks
  • Exposure to ERP systems (ex SAP, JDE)
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality concepts

Responsibilities

  • Act as a main point of contact for business users seeking data for analytics, reporting, or operational decisions
  • Guide customers on what data exists, where it resides, and how to access it across enterprise platforms
  • Translate business questions into data solutions and recommend appropriate datasets or data products
  • Educate users on data definitions, appropriate usage, and limitations
  • Support users in navigating data catalogs and semantic layers
  • Promote adoption of the Digital Brain and associated data standards
  • Guide users toward certified, governed data sources vs. shadow or siloed data
  • Work closely with data engineering, data quality, and platform teams to stay aligned on available data assets
  • Feed recurring business needs into data product development and prioritization
  • Support intake processes by helping shape business requests into structured data requirements
