About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead AI Workflow Designer & Prompt Architect to design, develop, and optimize AI-powered workflows using large language models, AI agents, and orchestration frameworks to address complex business challenges. The role combines strategic problem framing, prompt engineering, workflow architecture, and technical implementation to deliver scalable, reliable AI solutions aligned with business needs. The position translates ambiguous business challenges into structured, multi-step workflows coordinating prompts, tools, context, data, and agent interactions. It calls for the ability to assess system behavior independently, prototype solutions, troubleshoot workflow issues, and improve AI performance through experimentation and operational insights. The position follows a hybrid schedule of three days on site and two days remote at a listed location: Charlotte, NC; Irving, NC; or Chandler, AZ. Remote-only work locations are unavailable, and candidates outside the listed locations must commit to self-relocation within an agreed timeframe. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
