About The Position

We need a hands-on engineering resource to design, build, and operate AI-enabled and automation-driven capabilities embedded directly into our platform ecosystem. This role focuses on integrating AI and automation into core infrastructure, workflows, and operations to drive measurable efficiency, reliability, and scale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Six+ years of engineering or other IT work experience relevant to the position.
  • Strong engineering background (platform engineering, infrastructure, software engineering, or automation engineering)
  • Proven experience building and operating production-grade solutions (not prototypes)
  • Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into enterprise platforms and workflows
  • Strong automation experience using tools such as: Ansible (required), Terraform, PowerShell, Python-based automation, or equivalent frameworks
  • Experience with APIs, orchestration frameworks, and automation pipelines
  • Ability to translate operational problems into scalable AI- and automation-driven solutions
  • Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance requirements in regulated environments
  • Experience integrating with platforms such as ServiceNow, observability/monitoring tools, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to drive adoption across teams and embed solutions into standard workflows
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a highly-collaborative environment

Responsibilities

  • Build and integrate AI and automation capabilities into existing platforms (infrastructure provisioning, patching, incident response, self-service, engineering workflows)
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks (Ansible playbooks, scripts, orchestration pipelines) to eliminate manual tasks
  • Operate and continuously improve AI-enabled and automated services in production environments
  • Standardize patterns for AI + automation integration (APIs, orchestration, reusable modules, guardrails)
  • Partner with engineering and operations teams to identify and prioritize high-value automation opportunities
  • Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and reliability requirements
  • Deliver measurable outcomes (reduced manual effort, faster resolution times, improved platform performance)
