About The Position

Our vision is that mastering machine learning is hard, frustrating, and takes time. The talent shortage is the mother of all problems in AI. At AnyoneAI, we upskill people from LatAm to solve the AI talent gap through an accelerated and practical training program dictated by AI industry experts. In AI, people are the new capital, and we invest in them in exchange for a share of their future income. Our mission is to supply the demand of 100,000 AI/ML developers in the next 10 years, from LatAm to international markets, with focus in the US. We are founding members of Deep Vision AI, one of the first companies in the computer vision / AI space, which was acquired in early 2020 by DFW Capital Partners. Anyone AI is backed by top global investors like GFC (Global Founders Capital) -investors in Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack, Canva, Trivago, Delivery Hero, Revolut, etc-, Canvas Ventures (early investor in Coursera, Evernote, MuleSoft, etc) and Latitud Fund (the largest community of angel investors for LatAm). This is a chance to help change the AI industry and change thousands people’s lives in LatAm. This position provides self-motivated, collaborative individuals the opportunity to make a direct impact on Anyone AI products and services. You will have the opportunity to challenge yourself while contributing to develop an accelerated training program designed to invest in people from LataAm and help them master ML and AI to land their first job in the field, in less than 6 months.

Requirements

• Technical background in math, programming, and machine learning.
• Hands-on experience in AI/ML, solving real-world problems.
• Expert level proficiency in using Machine learning packages for Python (numpy, Pandas, scikit-learn, etc); experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc), deployment with Docker, and AWS or similar cloud environment, data science libraries (Pandas, Airflow, etc) and databases (SQL, etc).
• Interest in student engagement, motivation, and teaching.
• Excellent written and verbal communication English skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor, Master, PhD or equivalent degree in computer science / computer engineering, or equivalent industry experience in areas like machine learning, data science or related.
• It is a nice position for PhD candidates who are also interested in teaching.
• Previous experience as an instructor or lecturer in the areas of AI, machine learning, data science, robotics or similar
• Experience designing/revising curriculum and measuring student performance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and adapt lectures and assignments on ML/AI in the assigned format, LMS, Jupyter Notebooks, or other tool of choice.
• Contribute to the development and/or update course curriculum in consultation with the team.
• Deliver live lectures or assignments at the time specified by Anyone AI.
• Deliver lectures on ML/AI topics, and perform code review with the fellows.
• Respond to student questions and learning needs in a timely manner through Slack, Zoom or related tools.
• Provide regular feedback on student performance and issues or special attention they may require through the 5-month training program.
• Update materials periodically, and regularly monitor course evaluations in order to make adjustments and improvements to the curriculum.
• Meet with the Program Coordinator and Mentors regularly to coordinate activities for the successful completion of the training program.
