Requirements

  • Seeking Experienced Urgent Care or Primary Care Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners.
  • Previous leadership in Urgent Care is required.
  • Current national certification, DEA, and BLS are required.
  • Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a collaborative leadership style required.
  • Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, or team coordination experience preferred.
  • Current CA state license is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Medical Director and Practice Management Team to support daily operations, provider engagement, and high quality patient care.
  • Promote an ownership mindset emphasizing accountability for results, responsible resource management, and contributing to a cohesive, supportive provider team culture.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day leader for Advanced Providers, fostering trust, engagement, and accountability.
  • Model an owner mindset by proactively identifying issues, driving solutions, and following through on commitments.
  • Support staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and retention to ensure reliable, sustainable practice.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive team culture with clear communication, coaching, and timely feedback.
  • Partner with site leadership on operational, quality, and patient experience initiatives.
  • Promote patient support by demonstrating excellent care, fostering trust, and prioritizing patient-centered care.
  • Collaborate professionally with practice and hospital leadership to align on goals, share best practices, and support integrated care delivery.
