Lead Advance Practice Provider, Neurology - Temple Faculty Practice
About The Position
The Lead Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) is an integral member of the healthcare team, qualified through academic and clinical education to provide patient care services under the supervision of staff physicians. This role encompasses both clinical and administrative responsibilities within the clinic. The Lead APP will oversee clinical operations, ensure adherence to best practices, and manage administrative duties. Additionally, the Lead APP will play a pivotal role in the planning and training of new PAs/NPs. All responsibilities are subject to approval by the Medical Staff Board. Reporting to the Director of APPs, the Lead APP is accountable to the supervising physician and the department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Healthcare related field
- Master's Degree Accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program and Science in Nursing
- Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- 2 years experience in a clinical specialty as a CRNP or PA
- General Experience with Epic
- PA Medical Physician Asst Lic or PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner
- Basic Life Support
