About The Position

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and reports by leading complex accounting initiatives, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies, and overseeing the collection, recording, classification, analysis, and reporting of accounting transactions for Inventory, Installments, and Securitization in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Professional certification may be required based on the position’s area of specialization.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accounting systems and oversee general ledger activities, including month-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconcile ledger accounts, and maintain accurate records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
  • Support compliance with applicable local, state, and federal tax regulations.
  • Prepare or coordinate tax returns and statutory filings, identify potential tax-saving opportunities, and provide guidance on tax-related matters.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls designed to safeguard company assets and promote accurate financial reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures and coordinate internal and external audit activities.
  • Lead complex accounting projects and process-improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate financial findings and recommendations to key stakeholders and provide guidance or mentorship to less experienced team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the organization’s financial and operational objectives, including cash-flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting-system enhancements.
