About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced accounting professional ready to take the next step in their career. This role is a key contributor to the Financial Reporting team, playing an integral part in driving quarterly and annual reporting processes, with a strong focus on on continuous improvement and achieving best-in-class results. The ideal candidate will be actively involved in reporting cycles, including the preparation and review of 10Q/10K filings, as well as supporting various accounting initiatives and projects related to financial reporting. This role requires a strong commitment to maintaining compliance with established internal controls and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Success in this position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving business environment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, proactive, and comfortable navigating change within an innovative organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in accounting roles of increasing responsibility, preferably a mix of both public accounting and external reporting roles within a publicly traded company
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC Regulations and understanding of SOX 404(b) compliance
  • Experience working with global financial systems, preferably SAP and Oracle
  • Demonstrated experience with process and system automation
  • Must have the ability to execute multiple tasks, while remaining detail oriented with high commitment to quality, and be able to adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion in implementing technology and executing process improvements

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, 8-Ks, and other required filings.
  • Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and supporting disclosures.
  • Analyze existing and new USGAAP and SEC reporting requirements to ensure filing comply with regulations and company reporting policies.
  • Lead initiatives to improve reporting efficiency, accuracy, and automation.
  • Partner with FP&A, Legal, Investor Relations, Tax, Treasury, and operational accounting teams to gather information for filings and disclosures.
  • Document, evaluate, and test controls over SEC reporting processes.
  • Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards and disclosure requirements.
  • Assist in audit activities with internal and external auditors
