About The Position

C2 Technology Group, a Crete United Company, is hiring a Lead Access Controls Technician. The role involves installing, configuring, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning access control systems, along with related low-voltage cabling work. The technician conducts site surveys, coordinates with project managers and engineers, and completes installation documentation and quality assurance reports. Compensation is $20–$28 per hour, based on knowledge, experience, and ability. A company vehicle may be provided depending on role level. Requirements

Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience installing and servicing access control systems.
Familiarity with industry-recognized platforms such as Lenel, Software House, Genetec, Honeywell, or similar.
Experience with low-voltage cabling and termination practices.
Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and perform basic math.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying temperatures.
Verifiable experience and character references are required.
Successful completion of pre-hire drug screening, background checks, and DMV checks.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and troubleshoot access control systems, including card readers, door controllers, and credential management platforms.
Pull and terminate low-voltage cabling associated with access control infrastructure.
Conduct site surveys and coordinate with project managers and engineers.
Complete installation documentation and quality assurance reports.
Perform system testing and commissioning upon project completion.
