About The Position

As a Finisher at BASF ECMS, you will be responsible for following work instructions, promoting a safe and productive work environment, and ensuring the quality of finished parts. This role involves screening, packing, and labeling completed parts according to customer specifications, as well as contributing to maintaining scrap levels and participating in continuous improvement efforts. You will operate equipment safely and report any unsafe conditions or excess scrap to the Team Leader. The position requires attention to detail in documentation and understanding customer specifications through a database.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED required
1 year of manufacturing experience required
Ability to understand and carry out instructions
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations while performing tasks which may require multiple steps

Responsibilities

Follow all work instructions on each job task which operator as received proper training.
Promote a clean, safe, and productive work environment.
Properly identify, segregate and store all rework material.
Screen, pack and label completed parts following customer specification and requirements.
Understand customer specifications by using specifications database.
Contribute to maintaining scrap levels at or below established goals.
Complete all documentation associated with job assignments.
Participate in process continuous improvement efforts.
Notify Team Leader of excess scrap.
Perform all duties in compliance with safety standards and specifications.
Operate all equipment in a manner that complies with all safety procedures.
Report any unsafe conditions to Team Leader.
