About The Position

Cumberland County Guidance Center is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) / Outpatient Therapist to join our Outpatient Department in Bridgeton, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Therapist, Behavioral Health Therapist, Clinical Therapist, or Psychotherapist who is passionate about providing high-quality mental health counseling, substance use treatment, and recovery-focused care to individuals and families throughout the community. As part of our outpatient behavioral health team, you'll provide psychotherapy, assessments, treatment planning, and clinical support while helping clients achieve meaningful recovery outcomes and improved overall well-being. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or another mental health-related discipline
  • Current New Jersey Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) License or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) License
  • Experience providing: Individual Therapy, Family Therapy, Group Therapy
  • Experience treating mental health disorders, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions
  • Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and counseling skills
  • Ability to provide both telehealth and in-person services
  • Valid New Jersey driver's license with acceptable driving history

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in mental health and mental healthcare within their community
  • Previously worked in outpatient behavioral health and outpatient mental health settings
  • Knowledge regarding evidence-based treatment approaches such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care
  • Prior experience providing recovery-oriented services
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health and behavioral health assessments
  • Provide individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and recovery goals
  • Deliver evidence-based mental health counseling and psychotherapy services
  • Provide co-occurring disorder treatment for individuals experiencing both mental health and substance use challenges
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Provide both in-person and telehealth counseling services
