About The Position
Liberty Healthcare seeks Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists to contract on an as-needed basis to conduct client evaluations for the California Conditional Release Program. The statewide program serves adult sex offenders transitioning from Coalinga State Hospital into the community, with community safety as its top priority. Its objectives include preventing recidivism, supporting the transition from hospital treatment, securing housing and community supports, addressing client needs and risk factors, and providing behavioral health services, case management, 24/7 monitoring, and transportation. Consultants evaluate patients’ progress in treatment and identify factors that may preclude conditional release. In-person evaluations take place onsite at Coalinga State Hospital in Coalinga, California. Report writing may be completed remotely from a home office in California. Several evaluations are scheduled per visit to reduce travel and improve efficiency. Compensation is $500 for each completed evaluation, with reimbursement for approved travel expenses to Coalinga.
Requirements
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
Responsibilities
