About The Position

What your day-to-day as an Estimator will look like: Develops internal material and labor cost estimates and compares them to contractor proposals, preparing reports that summarize variances, risks, and recommendations. Conducts detailed cost analysis and prepares estimates for highly complex proposal efforts. Collects, validates, and synthesizes cost and proposal data from internal stakeholders. Prepares final cost reports for domestic and international proposals and presents summarized cost information to management. Interfaces with vendors to obtain and verify pricing information and supports price audits by providing required documentation. Supports procurement and project teams with cost modeling, benchmarking, and financial insights. Performs other duties as assigned. Abides by and is responsible for performing all duties in accordance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and practices pertinent to this position. Ability to operate in a highly collaborative, cross-functional project environment. Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and risk identification. Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of material and labor cost estimation methodologies.
  • Proven ability to develop cost analyses for highly complex proposals.
  • Proven ability to develop internal cost estimates using scope documentation, historical data, and pricing inputs.
  • Experience supporting vendor pricing validation and audit activities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with construction, engineering, or large-scale infrastructure project environments preferred.
