About The Position
The Layout Engineer will lead facility layout redesign and material flow optimization to support increased throughput. This role requires expertise in AutoCAD and experience with mid-scale layout changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar layout design tools.
- 5+ years of experience in layout design and optimization
- Experience with mid-scale layout changes in manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate facility layout proposals to optimize material flow.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement layout changes.
- Ensure compliance with safety and ergonomic standards during redesign.
- Support installation and cutover activities with minimal production disruption.
