About The Position

Clinton Engineering (CEC), a member of the McCarthy-Bush family of companies, is a full-service general contractor and recognized leader in construction for the Clinton Community and surrounding areas since 1926. Specializing in design-build, new construction, rehabilitation and renovation of commercial, industrial and municipal projects, CEC boasts a local, experienced workforce who self-perform in a variety of trades. CEC is currently seeking a Seasonal Lawncare/Groundskeeper based at the LyondellBasell Facility in Clinton, Iowa. This role involves tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming edges, ensuring clean-up of debris, and adhering to our standards of lawn maintenance at a large, industrial facility. This position is seasonal and is expected to continue through late fall, dependent on weather and growing conditions.

Requirements

Familiarity with operating lawn mowing equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and edgers
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Physical stamina and ability to lift maintenance equipment and work outdoors for extended periods
Strong work ethic and reliability in meeting scheduled work hours and deadlines
High school diploma
Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check
