Lawn Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Green Oasis, an award-winning full-service lawn care, irrigation, pest control, landscape, and outdoor maintenance company in Western Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota, is seeking an experienced Lawn Maintenance Technician for year-round work. The company is looking for self-motivated, enthusiastic individuals interested in developing a career in the lawn care field. This role involves working 40+ hours a week, Monday through Friday, from March to November, and transitioning to winter Christmas lighting and snow removal from November through February. The environment is described as fun and fast-paced, focusing on delivering great results.
Requirements
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate ride on equipment safely and efficiently
- Ability to operate a truck with a trailer
- Attention to detail is essential
- Ability to read and write English, including maps and diagrams
- Ability to stand, bend and walk for more than 8 hours a day in various weather conditions
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and team members via written and verbal applications
- Technical & mechanical aptitude towards lawn care systems, equipment, and processes
- Trustworthy, punctual, and reliable with the flexibility to work seasonal hours, which may include long days based on production schedules and weather variables
- Customer service skills and abilities
Nice To Haves
- Lawn Maintenance experience (cutting grass, mowing, trimming, edging)
- Data entry/database software experience (Green Oasis uses Real Green software)
Responsibilities
