About The Position
Skinner Overlook Landscape & Design is hiring an experienced Lawn Maintenance Foreman / Crew Leader to lead a professional landscape maintenance crew. This position is responsible for completing scheduled residential, condominium, HOA, and commercial properties efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality, safety, and professionalism. We are looking for someone who is dependable, takes pride in their work, and has experience leading a mowing and landscape maintenance crew.
Requirements
- Professional landscape maintenance experience required
- Crew leader or foreman experience strongly preferred
- Experience operating commercial mowing and landscaping equipment
- Knowledge of proper mowing, trimming, edging, and cleanup practices
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage a crew and stay on schedule
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions
Nice To Haves
- Experience driving a truck and landscape trailer preferred
- DOT medical card preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a landscape maintenance crew
- Perform and oversee commercial mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing
- Ensure properties are completed efficiently and to company standards
- Assign daily tasks and provide direction to crew members
- Maintain crew productivity and quality throughout the workday
- Operate commercial zero-turn mowers, walk-behind mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, and other landscape equipment
- Load, unload, and properly secure equipment
- Maintain clean and organized trucks, trailers, and equipment
- Identify and report property concerns, damages, irrigation issues, or additional work needs
- Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and company management
- Train crew members on proper work methods, equipment operation, and safety procedures
- Assist with seasonal landscape maintenance work as needed
- Participate in snow and ice removal operations during the winter season
