About The Position

Galbraith’s Landscaping & Lawn Care is seeking independent, self-motivated individuals who enjoy working outdoors, interacting with customers, and seeing the results of their work. In this role, you will drive a company vehicle to customer properties to apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides that improve lawns and manage pests. We provide hands-on training to teach proper application techniques and how to identify common lawn problems. Once trained, you will be able to diagnose and resolve lawn issues during service visits and offer additional services to new and existing customers. You will also be responsible for completing your daily schedule and all required forms and reports. We are looking for people who love working outdoors and interacting with customers daily. The ideal candidate is independent, makes thoughtful decisions for our customers, and is eager to grow into management positions within our company. Reliability, trustworthiness, and a proactive approach are essential. You will be expected to complete your assigned schedule efficiently and, when not directly instructed, actively look for opportunities to improve both new and existing customers’ properties using our products and services. Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License and Excellent Driving Record
  • Ability to Pass Background Check and Drug Screen
  • Ability to perform physical work in various weather conditions
  • Reliable transportation to the branch
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds & walk long distances
  • Monday - Friday, Some Saturdays May Be Required

Nice To Haves

  • No Experience Required, But A Big Plus
  • Indiana Chemical Applicator License A Plus

Responsibilities

  • Drive a company vehicle to customer properties to apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.
  • Improve lawns and manage pests.

  • Apply Fertilizers and Pesticides to Lawns According to Label Instructions and Safety Procedures.
  • Approach Potential New Customers and Sell New Beneficial Services (With Commission).
