The Lawn Care Technician will provide uncompromised service to Lawn and Ornamental customers by evaluating and diagnosing lawn and ornamental needs and applying various treatments using hand and powered equipment.

Requirements

Ability to pass the state of Florida's Best Management Practices exam for lawn care
Maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing
Able to pass internal technical exams
Possess current Driver's License
Maintain a driving record consistent with company standards
High school diploma or equivalent
Able to work a 40-hour (minimum) workweek
Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

Evaluate and diagnose lawn and ornamental needs
Use hand and powered equipment to apply fertilizer, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides
Maintain a company vehicle and all company equipment provided
Schedule and keep appointments with customers
Ask customers about the issues they are experiencing
Conduct thorough searches of customer's property to identify insects, weeds, fungus conditions, and other conducive conditions
Explain the next course of action to customers once the problem source is determined
Draw diagrams or graphs of treatment plans
Answer additional questions about the proposed service
Collect payments due after service completion
Suggest any other services that would benefit the customer
