About The Position
NOW HIRING LAWN CARE TECHNICIAN(S) FOR AN IMMEDIATE FULL-TIME JOB OPPORTUNITY! STARTING PAY OF $18.00 - $21.00 PER HOUR BASED ON EXPERIENCE! Are you passionate about working outdoors and enjoy working with your hands? Your Green Team and Southern Care Lawn are hiring a Lawn Care Technician to help us deliver top-notch lawn care services to our customers. As a Lawn Care Technician, you will manage a daily route while diagnosing and treating a variety of turf, weed, pest, and shrub issues. Our ideal candidate enjoys helping customers, takes pride in their work, understands the importance of environmentally responsible lawn care treatments, and is interested in growing their knowledge and career within the lawn care industry.
Requirements
- Experience in lawn care, landscaping, pest control, or outdoor service work is preferred but not required—training provided!
- Ability and willingness to learn proper lawn treatment and application techniques.
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily service route.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physically capable of performing technician duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care services including fertilization, weed control, pest control, and aeration.
- Diagnose common turf, weed, pest, and shrub issues and provide appropriate treatments.
- Complete scheduled customer properties efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Safely apply lawn care products according to company procedures and product guidelines.
- Operate and maintain lawn care equipment, tools, and company vehicles safely and effectively.
- Communicate with customers regarding lawn conditions, treatments performed, and recommended services.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Ensure customer properties are left clean and well-maintained after each service.
- Follow all company safety procedures and applicable regulations.
