About The Position

Performs fertilization and pest management on turfs and lawns using spray and injection tools. This role involves applying weed control/herbicides/fertilizer, communicating and educating clients on diagnoses and prescribed services, monitoring lawn quality after application, and maintaining/operating equipment including trucks and sprayers. Your office is outdoors, and you get a new view every day.

Requirements

Valid Driver's license
Background in Lawn/Turf Care, spraying & Landscaping
Ability to complete the Davey Tree Qualified Lawn Care Tech training program upon hire
Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire

Nice To Haves

Relevant pesticide, CDL and related licenses and certificates

Responsibilities

Properly applying weed control/herbicides/fertilizer
Communicate and educate the client regarding the diagnosis and the prescribed pest control, aerification and fertilization service(s) with customers.
Continuously monitor lawn quality and fertilizing methods after application and communicate progress to customers and supervisors.
Drive, use, maintain and properly operate equipment (truck and sprayer)
