About The Position

Joshua Tree Experts is seeking a dedicated Lawn Care Technician to manage residential and commercial properties in the Houston area. This is a critical Full-Time role for an individual who is passionate about delivering expert service, focused on safety, and committed to professional growth. Requirements

Strong ability to identify and diagnose lawn-related issues (common pests, diseases, and deficiencies).
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver's License
Ability to pass a DOT CFR-49 Physical Exam (as required).
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. repeatedly, and able to bend, stoop, and walk up steep hills while pushing or dragging equipment.

Nice To Haves

Proven experience in lawn care applications is highly preferred.
Previous experience in Plant Health Care (PHC), ornamental shrub/tree care, or related specialized licensing is highly beneficial but not required.
Structural Pest Control License is preferred, or the ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

Deliver and manage a wide range of lawn health services, including fertilization, weed/insect/disease management, aeration, and soil amendments.
Apply strong working knowledge of lawn health, common pests, and diseases to ensure superior client results.
Safely operate and maintain specialized lawn care equipment used for lawn applications.
Build professional and trusting relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service on every visit.
Proactively identify issues related to other Joshua Tree Experts' services (tree work, etc.) and communicate these needs to the appropriate supervisor.
Complete all paperwork and product information accurately, complying with all safety rules and regulations regarding vehicles and equipment.
Meet or exceed daily production and performance goals.
