About The Position

Naturescape of Davenport, IA is seeking to hire a Lawn Care Specialist to provide our customers with outstanding services for their residential and commercial properties. This role involves managing a route and transforming landscapes, working outdoors in a dynamic environment. The specialist will perform precision lawn care, lawn aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control. This is a licensed specialist position requiring state pesticide certifications. The role also involves adapting to seasonal needs, including snow removal in winter. Requirements

• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Motivated with a desire to learn
• Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certification in categories Core and 3T (Turf Pest Control) is preferred for bonus eligibility, but not required to start.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a general laborer, construction worker, landscaper, groundskeeper, or lawn mower.
• Already a Licensed Professional with Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certification in categories Core and 3T (Turf Pest Control) before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding lawn and landscape care services for residential and commercial properties.
• Manage a route and transform landscapes.
• Perform precision lawn care, lawn aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control.
• Act as the face of the company in the field, communicating with customers and addressing their questions.
• Assess lawn health and landscape needs, building rapport with customers.
• Adapt to seasonal changes, including performing snow removal in winter.
• Pursue personal development and skill growth in lawn and landscape care.
• Maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
