About The Position

Naturescape of Burnsville, MN is seeking to hire a Lawn Care Specialist to provide our customers with outstanding services for their residential and commercial properties. The position involves independent work in the great outdoors, with flexible scheduling options for full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees. You will be managing a route and transforming landscapes, performing precision lawn care, lawn aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control. Adaptability is key, as you will pivot to snow removal and other winter work opportunities when winter hits. This is a licensed specialist position requiring state pesticide certifications. The company provides paid training and emphasizes a 'learning by doing' approach, encouraging continuous development.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Motivated with a desire to learn

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a general laborer, construction worker, landscaper, groundskeeper, or lawn mower.

Responsibilities

• Manage a route and transform landscapes across the service area.
• Complete precision lawn care, lawn aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control.
• Assess lawn health and landscape needs.
• Communicate clearly and kindly with clients, explaining services and addressing questions.
• Perform snow removal and other winter work.
• Obtain and maintain state pesticide certifications.
