EY’s Canada Tax & Law Technology group is looking for a seasoned Technology Project Manager / Business Analyst who will enable us to transform and grow EY’s Tax & Law services. You will be part of a team that helps design and implement innovative technology solutions to help Tax & Law professionals drive operational efficiencies and go to market with competitive offerings. You will engage very closely with various business teams in the Tax & Law group to understand their processes in depth and help build and deploy more effective business processes and modern technology solutions. These solutions encompass a range of smart technologies, infrastructure, and coding languages such as Microsoft Azure (Cloud), Power Automate, Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence Agents (AI), SharePoint, Co-Pilot Studio, and Power BI / Data Analytics etc. You will also be responsible for assessing and deploying existing global tools or vendor software. You will be responsible in supporting the requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation, and support of these innovative solutions, as part of the Canada Tax & Law Technology Group. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Technology Project Manager or Business Analyst role
  • Comfortable communicating with senior business stakeholders, developers, other business analysts and project managers.
  • Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle processes, agile development methodologies, software design and testing.
  • Experience working on a variety of software development projects.
  • Experience with workflow-based solutions or functionality.
  • Experience with consuming APIs.
  • Experience with various modern web development technologies.
  • Experience with vendor tool implementations and vendor management.
  • Experience with process improvement or innovation projects.
  • Experience gathering & drafting requirements, developing process or architecture maps, and managing projects through the entire life cycle.

Nice To Haves

  • Tax & Legal technology knowledge or experience
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence technologies and AI agents (nice to have).

Responsibilities

  • Designing, improving, and implementing Tax & Legal solutions, helping build applications with the latest possible technologies or implementing vendor solutions
  • Determine project scope and objectives from executives and develop project plans; manage project delivery through completion
  • Gather and evaluate needs from subject matter experts to understand current state and develop future state; collecting, discussing, understanding, documenting requirements
  • Brainstorm and map out new processes
  • Monitor progress, manage risks & issues, prepare project documentation and summary reports as needed on a regular basis
  • Lead calls with business, technology, and other enablement teams (risk, marketing & communications etc.) to effectively deliver on projects
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to identify and clear bottlenecks as needed
  • Translating assumptions, risks, and business requirements into technical design; create technical and process documentation
  • Contributing to technical design and supporting development team
  • Working with agile development teams to deliver working solutions
  • Supporting application/system’s testing, upgrades, performance, and other operational needs
  • Managing user access and permissions.
  • Project managing the overall delivery and implementation
  • Support other ad-hoc requests, as required to assist with delivery (hands-on role)
