About The Position

As an Airport Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Valid Drivers License
  • 21+ years of age
  • Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening and physical exam.
  • Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
  • Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government-operated transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, exterior grounds, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and restricted areas, verify access permissions when required, and support orderly movement of pedestrians and vehicles in accordance with site protocols.
  • Assist with security-related inquiries, provide directions and general information, and support de-escalation efforts during customer interactions and/or service disruptions.
