About The Position
Mizrahi Kroub LLP is a fast-paced and growing law firm based in New York City, with a focus on plaintiff-side litigation, including employment law and disability access cases under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Law Clerk to support our ADA litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney looking to develop litigation skills and gain hands-on experience through close mentorship. The role will begin as a 3-6 month contract with strong potential for long-term employment based on performance and team needs.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of litigation experience required.
- Admission to the New York Bar.
- Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines with attention to detail.
- Professionalism, discretion, and empathy when interacting with clients.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate settlement agreements with opposing counsel.
- Provide legal advice and updates to clients regarding their cases.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analyze statutes, case law, and regulations.
- Draft legal documents.
