About The Position
The Chicago office of Kaufman Dolowich, LLP, an AV-rated® firm of 200+ attorneys across 16 offices, is seeking a Law Clerk in their 2nd or 3rd year of Law School to work part-time. This is a great opportunity to work directly with attorneys and gain hands-on litigation experience with a dynamic team in Chicago. This is a paid clerkship with the potential to return to the firm as an associate after passing the IL bar.
Requirements
- On track to receive JD from an ABA accredited Law School in May 2027 or 2028
- Sitting for the July 2027 or 2028 IL bar
- Superior academic credentials
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent writing, time management, and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Clerkship experience with litigation and/or insurance coverage practices is preferred.
- Law Review/Law Journal or Moot Court is preferred
- Insurance coverage, professional liability, or employment litigation experience a plus.
