About The Position

We are an established real estate law firm with offices across California. Our Irvine office is looking for a part-time or full-time Law Clerk to join our fast-paced team. If chosen as the successful candidate, you will assist attorneys and other individuals with filing evictions. With over 45 years in the California legal industry and six offices statewide, our firm was founded on a commitment to customer service that has flourished within our culture of inclusion and diversity. Requirements

• Current law student in the process of obtaining J.D.
• Strong written communication skills with high attention to detail
• Extensive data experience with a high level of accuracy
• Comfortable speaking with business professionals
• Self-starter who can succeed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with minimal oversight
• Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task and follow up with clients
• Must provide writing samples that showcase writing style
• Minimum typing speed of 50 wpm

Nice To Haves

• Post-Bar candidates preferred
• Legal Admin experience
• ProLaw experience

Responsibilities

• Drafting legal notices and letters
• Assist attorneys with drafting motions and preparing discovery
• Assist in case intake, reading and reviewing leases, legal forms and correspondence
• File management
• Contacting clients as needed to obtain missing case-related information
• Performing additional legal administrative duties as needed by the department
