About The Position

As a member of the laundry team, you will be responsible for the proper washing and handling of clean and dirty product (linens and terry), in a safe and efficient manner. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
  • Work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times and employee may be exposed to fumes, toxic, or caustic chemicals.
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading of washers and dryers.
  • Operate machinery such as washers, dryers, chain hoists, loading/unloading conveyors, and product transportation equipment.
  • Select proper wash and drying formulas.
  • Loading and Unloading product from washers and dryers following the equipment’s load capacity.
  • Deliver the product to the different working stations for finishing.
  • Schedule loads into washing machines to ensure desired production goals, efficiency and smooth flow through finishing areas.
  • Prioritize wash and dry as directed by the supervisors to accomplish the desired production goal.
  • Work in a safe manner at all times.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and safe condition at all times.
  • Keep machine integrity by locating and recognizing possible or present malfunctions on the equipment and rapidly report to supervisors and/or maintenance crew.
  • Make sure product is free of trash and other foreign objects before loading the machines.
  • Ensures follows all safety for State & Federal & Company guidelines.
  • Quality control.
  • Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
