This role involves transporting laundry to and from resident apartments, ensuring clothing is sorted correctly, inspecting laundry for any damage, and maintaining laundry equipment. The position requires attention to detail in operating equipment and reporting any malfunctions or supply needs to management to ensure optimal laundry operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred but not required.
- Related work experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Transport laundry to and from resident apartments.
- Keep clothing sorted by each apartment.
- Inspect laundry on a regular basis for tears, holes or sub-standard conditions.
- Clean and maintain laundry equipment.
- Operate iron per standard and ensure that it is shut off when not in use.
- Notify Manager on Duty of malfunctioning equipment, supplies needed, damaged linens- to ensure laundry operation is running at maximum efficiency level.
