About The Position

The Laundry Staff position plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards within our manufacturing facility in Ste Genevieve. This role is responsible for the efficient handling, washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens, uniforms, and other fabric items essential to daily operations. The successful candidate will ensure that all laundry processes comply with safety and quality guidelines, contributing to a safe and productive work environment. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial washing and drying machines according to established procedures and safety standards.
• Sort laundry items by fabric type, color, and level of soiling to ensure proper cleaning methods are applied.
• Inspect laundered items for cleanliness and damage, reporting any issues to management.
• Fold, package, and distribute clean laundry to designated departments in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations related to laundry operations.
• Record and track laundry loads and inventory to support operational reporting and supply management.
