The Village at Summerville is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Laundry Specialist to join our team to create a warm hospitality experience for all our residents, staff and visitors. Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 1 year of related laundry or housekeeping experience
- Valid South Carolina driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Wash and dry personal laundry of residents on as needed basis
- Wash and dry linens for residential and health services area
- Pick up soiled linens from all areas where stored and transport to the laundry room in a covered container
- Keep washers and dryers clean daily.
- Keep laundry carts neat and covered.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by washing hand, wearing gloves and safety goggles as required.
- Separate soiled laundry sheets, towels, rags, etc. and clean and disinfect linen carts daily.
