About The Position
We require a part-time, permanent Laundry Route Driver that will be assisting with linen and towel deliveries to all Basecamp properties in Canmore and Banff.
Requirements
- Must have a Canadian Driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
- Must have 3 years of driving experience in Canada.
- Must be available on weekends.
- Must have the mobility to climb stairs throughout the day and be able to lift 40lb.
- Demonstrate organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Able to work well independently and with a team with little supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in laundry duties and asset.
Responsibilities
- Assist with driving the clean linens to the various hotels and pick up the linens needing washing.
- Supply Houseperson/Housekeeper with linens from main laundry for delivery to housekeeping storage rooms.
- Responsible for all linen and towel inventories.
- Work closely with Housekeeping Supervisors and Housekeeping Manager to ensure inventory for each property is properly stocked.
- Maintaining cleanliness of laundry.
- Maintain clean floors in the laundry room.
- Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicle.
- Package linens in transport bins in such a way as to expedite the stocking of items upon delivery.
- Ensure proper operations of equipment.
- Report any mechanical issues to the Manager.
