Laundry Room Attendant
About The Position
Levy at American Airlines Center is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented event-based part-time Laundry Room Attendant to join our Warehouse team. This critical role supports the success of our food and beverage operation by ensuring products, equipment, and supplies are accurately received, stored, inventoried, and distributed throughout the venue. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing laundry services, including cleaning and distributing linens to clients. Also contributing to team efforts and professionally interacting with clients, customers, and team members.
Requirements
- Minimum (1) year of Food and Beverage, Stadium/Arena, Hotel/ Hospitality, Club, or Full-Service Restaurant experience.
- Valid TABC or state-approved Alcohol/Liquor certification.
- Valid ServSafe or state-approved Food Handler's certification.
- Excellent customer service, organization, and time management.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to remain focused in a loud and busy environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to (50) pounds.
Responsibilities
- Properly sorts, washes, and dries linens following the approved laundry procedures.
- Folds, counts, and stacks linens following approved laundry procedures.
- Collects soiled linens along redistributes clean linens.
- Transports supplies to include clean and soiled linen to the appropriate storage and collection areas.
- Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
- Routinely inspects linens for wear and tear, identifying worn and torn linens and following Standard Operating Procedure for damaged linens.
- Maintains the commercial and residential laundry rooms in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
