About The Position

The Laundry Production Worker is responsible for performing various tasks in the production area of an industrial laundry facility. This role includes sorting, folding, and preparing clean and soiled linens using both manual and automated equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Ability to respond to verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Organized and dependable
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs as needed
• Comfortable working in industrial conditions, including heat, cold, and high noise levels
• Fully participate in company health and safety programs
• Follow all company safety and OSHA policies
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
• Report any hazardous conditions or safety incidents immediately to management

Nice To Haves

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled and clean linen for processing
• Feed clean linen into belt-fed folding machines
• Fold smaller items by hand as needed
• Operate various production equipment, including ironers, feeders, folders
• Track production and report quantities processed
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols
• Perform other related duties as assigned
