About The Position

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a Laundry Manager to join our team at Holiday Inn Squire Resort in Tusayan, Arizona. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of a high-volume commercial laundry facility, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective processing of linens and terry for two large lodging properties totaling 670 rooms. This role includes managing staff, maintaining commercial laundry equipment, implementing quality control standards, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The manager will also be responsible for inventory control, ordering, scheduling, and fostering a positive work environment to achieve operational excellence and guest satisfaction. Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing high-volume commercial laundry operations, preferably in a hospitality environment
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Strong team leadership, time management, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and processes, with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and operational issues
  • Proficient in inventory control and scheduling software
  • Must be willing to work a flexible scheduling including days, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

  • Oversee commercial laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and delivery
  • Manage and train laundry staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards
  • Monitor equipment performance and schedule preventive maintenance with on-site facilities staff and 3rd-party vendors
  • Maintain inventory of detergents, chemicals, and supplies
  • Implement quality assurance processes to meet client expectations
  • Schedule and maintain accurate records of employee hours and timely processing of weekly payroll
  • Collaborate on creating and managing budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing workflow
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and Delaware North GreenPath environmental regulations
  • Communicate effectively with clients and resolve service issues promptly
