About The Position
GDI is seeking a dependable, detailed oriented, and hardworking Laundry Housekeeping to maintain clean linens, clothing and laundry areas within a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will follow proper instructions and procedures and maintain a clean, safe and sanitary environment for patients, residents and staff.
Requirements
- Ability to work with other crew members
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Must be able to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor instructions
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Empty all soiled linen barrels from both Nurses Stations, sort, and load machines.
- Fold any/all linen processed.
- Collect and process soiled bibs and tablecloths from food service.
- Personals processing, hanging and delivery.
- Clean Laundry Area: sweep floors thoroughly (underneath clean linen shelving), wipe down all machines (washers and dryers), recheck lint traps and thoroughly sweep out, straighten up clean linen on shelves and laundry area.
