Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping, custodial, laundry, hospitality, or environmental services experience

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and resident clothing
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Deliver clean linens throughout the facility
• Monitor linen inventory and restock supplies as needed
• Maintain laundry equipment and report maintenance concerns
• Help keep the laundry department clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Assist with training new employees and supporting department needs
• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, resident rooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces to support infection prevention efforts
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors and carpets
• Remove waste and biohazard materials according to established procedures
• Restock supplies in assigned areas
• Clean GMC-owned apartments and other assigned spaces
• Assist with bed preparation and linen changes
• Follow all safety, PPE, and infection control guidelines
