POSITION OVERVIEW The Equipment Operator, reporting to the Director of Laundry Operations, is responsible for operating and maintaining a minor tunnel, Softrol soil rail system, and Milnor dryer systems. This role is expected to monitor computer systems and processes to ensure efficient and effective production of laundry operations. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fluent in English; Bilingual a plus
• Proven experience in operating industrial laundry equipment preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software programs quickly.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the minor tunnel, Softrol soil rail system, and Milnor dryers according to established procedures.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Monitor computer systems to track the progress of laundry batches through the tunnel and dryer systems.
• Adjust settings as necessary to achieve optimal results in terms of cleanliness and dryness of laundry.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs or escalate to maintenance team as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all safety and operational procedures.
