About The Position
Laundry Attendants are responsible for providing clean, well maintained linen and terry. This role requires a positive, "can-do" attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The position involves working as part of a team and requires availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
Requirements
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and reach over shoulders repetitively.
- Ability to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold all linen and terry for guest rooms.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained laundry facility by adhering to the Laundry Attendant checklist.
- Assist guests as needed.
- Assist in delivery of clean linens to storage rooms or carts.
- Assist in removal of soiled linen and terry from guest rooms.
- Other duties as assigned by hotel management.
