About The Position

Drury Hotels is looking for a Laundry Attendant to join their team. This role is responsible for providing clean and sanitary linens and terry for guests. The position requires attention to detail in washing, drying, sorting, folding, and inspecting items. The Laundry Attendant will also ensure the laundry area is clean and organized, maintain stock and inventory, and may assist with cleaning rooms or public spaces when needed. A key aspect of the role is providing exceptional guest experiences through courteous and friendly service, promptly addressing inquiries, requests, and complaints with a +1 Service Attitude. The role also emphasizes contributing to a positive and diverse work environment.

Requirements

Ability to follow verbal directions.
Thorough knowledge of laundry procedures and laundry supplies.
Ability to work with a variety of chemicals and detergents.
Ability to work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

Washing, drying, sorting, folding, and inspecting linens and terry for wear and tear and stains.
Ensuring the laundry area is kept clean and organized.
Maintaining stock and inventory of laundry supplies.
Assisting with cleaning rooms/public space when needed.
Providing courteous, friendly guest service.
Discovering and responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, and complaints with a +1 Service Attitude.
Contributing to maintaining a positive work environment.
