Requirements

1 year hotel housekeeping/laundry experience or related experience.
Knowledge of cleaning/laundry techniques/chemical applications a plus.
Desire to work in a fast-paced role.

Responsibilities

Ensure that linens, clothing, and other textiles are cleaned, dried, folded, and stored properly.
Maintain linen and towel par levels for all hotel operations
Remove damaged and stained linen from circulation. Make repairs when possible. Report items with damage beyond repair
Sort and prepare soiled hotel linen, and other laundry for pickup by contracted laundry service(s).
Receive and process laundry service deliveries.
Keep accurate and complete records of laundry services.
Follow all safety procedures. Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
Use equipment and chemicals only as intended.
Keep work area and inventory clean and organized.
Assist fellow housekeeping team members when possible and appropriate.
You may be required to stand for extended periods and work in a warm, humid environment.
