About The Position

Baymont by Wyndham of Elko, NV, managed by Hospitality Management Corporation (HMC), is seeking a Laundry Attendant. This role is responsible for cleaning assigned areas, providing supplies to Room Attendants, handling soiled linen and trash, and maintaining the quality of washed, dried, and folded linen according to established procedures. The Laundry Attendant will also manage cleaning material supplies, maintain laundry area cleanliness, stock room linen, report equipment malfunctions, and uphold a neat image. Requirements

Ability to maintain the quality of washed, dried, and folded room and table linen by following prescribed methods and procedures for sorting, washing, drying, folding and storing operations.
Ability to inform the Executive Housekeeper of any deviations from the prescribed methods and procedures regarding the receipt of soiled linen from the Rooms or Food Departments.
Ability to maintain the proper supply of cleaning materials.
Ability to clean the dryer filters and washer drain filters.
Ability to keep the laundry area clean and orderly at all times.
Ability to store and stock room linen as instructed.
Ability to report any laundry equipment malfunctions promptly to the Executive Housekeeper.
Ability to maintain a clean, pleasant and neat image.

Responsibilities

Cleaning assigned areas.
Providing Room Attendants with supplies.
Picking up soiled linen and trash.
Moving or adding furniture as requested.
Maintaining the quality of washed, dried, and folded room and table linen by following prescribed methods and procedures for sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing operations.
Informing the Executive Housekeeper of any deviations from the prescribed methods and procedures regarding the receipt of soiled linen from the Rooms or Food Departments.
Maintaining the proper supply of cleaning materials.
Cleaning the dryer filters and washer drain filters.
Keeping the laundry area clean and orderly at all times.
Storing and stocking room linen as instructed.
Reporting any laundry equipment malfunctions promptly to the Executive Housekeeper.
Maintaining a clean, pleasant, and neat image.
Performing other duties as requested by the General Manager.
