About The Position

Picture Yourself at Biltmore Farms as part of the Vanderbilt legacy of hospitality! As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for sorting, washing, and folding all linens from guest rooms to the restaurant and banquet areas. You will also keep the laundry area clean and organized, and assist Room Attendants and Porters as needed. This role handles all laundry aspects of the hotel, from towels and uniforms to bedspreads and blankets, treating each hotel guest with exceptional care.

Requirements

Must be available to work PM shift, have flexible availability, and work weekends and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Should have knowledge of hotel housekeeping and cleaning techniques.
Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds.
Must be capable of constant walking, lifting, bending, pushing and pulling.
Must be able to work with cleaning products regularly.
Be able to work in a hot environment at various times throughout the year.
